This Page contains links to various files of Lee Family research.  Most of the information here was obtained from searching the Internet.  Sources include various private websites, the Lee Forum hosted by genealogy.com, various Lee mail lists, the LDS Family Search website, GENDEX, and others.  BEWARE.  Much of the data is anecdotal and is unsubstantiated.  Use it at your own risk.  Where verifiable sources were available they were listed.

The Immigrant's Family - the family of Richard "The Immigrant" Lee, who settled in VA and founded the famous "Lees of Virginia" line, including two signers of the Declaration of Independence, Robert E. Lee, and others.  Most Southern Lees claim kinship to this line; few actually prove it.  Descendants of this line appear in many states.

New England Lees - self-explanatory.  There is no apparent connection between the New England bunch and the Virginia Lees.

Miscellaneous Lees - the rest.  Many of these people will tie somewhere into one of the other lines.
